Main Page

  1. Make sure that you have internet, so you can reach the clever house server. You see green color the connection is established, red means you have some network problems.
  2. Choose from (2A) modify, (2B) create new installation or (2C) open a saved templet. Modify means update a previously made installation, create sets up a new one. The third option is to load some previously created installation and use it as templet. It will make it easier and faster to set up a new one in case it is similar to some other installation you made and saved previously.

Navigation menu

  1. With this button you can abort the installation.
  2. This button is to save the installation.
  3. This button generates a report based on the settings you made in the installation.
  4. With this button you can navigate backward in the installation.
  5. With this button you can navigate forward in the installation.

Modify existing Installation:

Open Instalation

      1. Log into your existing installation. If the installation is founded it will populate the installation name and MAC address fields.
      Click next to go further in the installation. From this point is the same as the following creating new installation process, though without the MAC address check, since it was already verified during the sign in process.

Create new Installation:

Check MAC Address

  1. Enter the MAC address located on the clever house unit and click the check button. Please note, the MAC address has a required format like the following number: 55-55-55-55-55-01. Incase the Mac address is already in use you will be informed in a message. This means that you can go further, but can’t activate your installation, just create and save a templet, which you can activate later with entering a valid MAC address. If the Mac address stated on your device is already in use that might mean that you have already a configured installation.
  2. Click next to go further in the installation.

Installation name

    1. Change the name what represents the project. It could be for example the address where the installation is made.
    2. Choose from the drop-down menu where is your installation located.
    3. Click next to go further in the installation

Template choose

  1. You can choose from one of the predefined templates if you have a similar project like you had before.
  2. Alternatively, you can choose the advanced option and create one from scratch.
  3. Click next to go further in the installation.

IO modules setup

  1. Depending of the size of the installation you might need some IO modules. There are 2 ports on the main controller to connect wired devices and with the IO modules you can add with each extra 5 ports to extend the size of the installation.
  2. Click next to go further in the installation

EnOcean settings

  1. Choose the device you want to add from the drop-down menu.
  2. Find the ID located on the device and type in to the ID field.
  3. Give a memorable name so later in the installation you will be able to find the right one.
  4. With the plus button you can add a new device to the list below.
  5. To delete an item, you need to select it from the menu below and use the red X button.
  6. To update an item, you need to select it from the menu below and use the check button.
  7. Similarly to the devices, here you can configure, remove or update relays in the system. Don’t forget to give a memorable name so later in the installation you will be able to find the right one.
  8. Click next to go further in the installation

Heat control settings

  1. Add a zone with the green, remove the last one with the red button or choose one zone with clicking on it and delete the chosen one with the bin-sign button.
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose temperature sensor you want to add from the drop-down menu.
  4. Choose humidity sensor you want to add from the drop-down menu.
  5. Choose which output on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to this device. Remember to not dedicate the same output to more than one device unless you want them to operate in the same operation. M: 1.01 is the first port of the main controller and S: 1.01 stands for the first output on the first IO card and S: 2.01 for first output on the second IO card (so called SLAVE card).
  6. Click next to go further in the installation

Heat pump settings

  1. Add or remove a heat pump
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose your brand of the heat pump from the drop-down menu.
  4. Type in the address what was dedicated previously at the installation of the control unit for the heat pump.
  5. Click next to go further in the installation

Ventillation settings

  1. Choose a model from the drop-down menu
  2. double-click into the box to open the configuration pop up menu.
  3. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a turn ON or OFF function to this event.
  4. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a TOGGLE function to this event. This means that the trigger coming from this port will once turning ON, then next time OFF the ventilation.
  5. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a BOOST function to this event. BOOST function means that for a certain time the ventilation will turn on for full power and will automatically return to the previous settings. This is great for get fresh air into a room or get rid of unwanted smell or humidity from the kitchen, toilet or bathroom.
  6. In case you want to delete one of the presets, choose them from the menu and click on the X button.
  7. Pres the Done button to finish the setting up the triggers.
  8. Click next to go further in the installation

On / Off control settings

    1. Add or remove an On/Off module
    2. Give a memorable name.
    3. Choose which output on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to this module. Remember to not dedicate the same output to more than one modules unless you want them to operate in the same operation.
    4. double-click into the box to open the configuration pop up menu.
    5. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a turn ON or OFF function to this event.

Door Lock control settings

    1. Add or remove a door locks module
    2. Give a memorable name.
    3. Choose which output on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to this door lock. Remember to not use the same output you used before.
    4. Double-click into the box to open the configuration pop up menu.
    5. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a turn ON or OFF function to this event.
    6. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a TOGGLE function to this event. This means that the trigger coming from this port will once Open, then next time lock the door.
    7. In case you want to delete one of the presets, choose them from the menu and click on the X button.
    8. Pres the Done button to finish the setting up the triggers.
    9. Click next to go further in the installation

Security alarm settings

  1. Add or remove a security alarm module
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose which output on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to this security alarm.
  4. Double-click into the box to open the configuration pop up menu.
  5. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a turn ON or OFF function to this event.
  6. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a TOGGLE function to this event. This means that the trigger coming from this port will once turning ON, then next time OFF the alarm.
  7. Choose a port on the master or slave card. This will be the source to trigger the event. Click on the plus button to set a ACTIVATE function to this event. This means that the trigger coming from this port will Activate the alarm.
  8. In case you want to delete one of the presets, choose them from the menu and click on the X button.
  9. Pres the Done button to finish the setting up the triggers.
  10. Click next to go further in the installation

AUX temperature measurments settings

  1. Set the number of external temperature modules
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose the device you want to add from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click next to go further in the installation

Power meter settings

  1. Add or remove a security alarm module
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose one of the brands from the drop-down menu. In case you have a power meter with pulse metering, choose the pulse option.
  4. Type in the address what was dedicated previously at the installation of the control unit for the power meter.
  5. Set how many pulses gives the device for a kWh
  6. Choose which input on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to handle the input from the power meter.
  7. Click next to go further in the installation

Energy meter settings

  1. Add or remove a security alarm module
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose one of the brands from the drop-down menu.
  4. Type in the address what was dedicated previously at the installation of the control unit for the power meter.
  5. Click next to go further in the installation

Water meter settings

  1. Add or remove a Water meter module
  2. Give a memorable name.
  3. Choose one of the brands from the drop-down menu. In case you have a water meter with pulse metering, choose the pulse option.
  4. Type in the address what was dedicated previously at the installation of the control unit for the water meter.
  5. Set how many pulses gives the device for a m3
  6. Choose which input on the main controller or IO card you want to dedicate to handle the input from the water meter.
  7. Click next to go further in the installation

Create / Update installation

  1. Create or update your installation depending if you are creating first time or updating an already existing one.
  2. Save the installation as template for later reuse.
  3. Print or export as PDF file a summary of your installation.

Setting up the user accont

  1. Please fill the Name, E-mail and Cell phone fields with valid information.
  2. Create an easy to remember but safe password and user name and validate it by pressing the check button next to it.
  3. Finish the registration with the create button.
